Reproduction of flatworm under stress

BSc Research Project, Maastricht University, The Netherlands

2016-2017

In my bachelor, I was part of a research project that looked into the effect of different stressor to the reproduction of invasive planarians, a flatworm. We treated the flatwork with ammonia pollution, injury and excessive feeding as a stressor. The results suggested the stress like injury and pollution may cause increase in the rate of reproduction.
