Design of a logo for own website. The insects within the hexagon indicate the model species I have researched and am interested in. The hexagon indicates the common molecular structures I have worked with, heterocyclic compounds like alkaloids and pyrazines.
Personal Logo for Thais Ferreira Pinto de Araújo

This logo was designed for Thais Ferreira Pinto de Araújo, a PhD student from Helsinki University in Finland, who researches on speciation of founder fish in Europe. Her work involves genetic analysis and uses phylogeny to study the speciation of founder fish. This logo was made by incorporating both elements into the design.
OIKOS Finland Congress 2023 Helsinki

Designed a logo for the Oikos conference in 2023 in Helsinki, Finland, organised by the Nordic Society of Oikos. This design was later implemented as the Oikos Finland Logo for upcoming conferences. The design was inspired by the elements of plants and fish in the Nordic Oikos Society. Other elements, like the hills are represent the Finnish landscape as well as the lakes and streams.

LUOVA Spring Symposium, Helsinki University

Designed a logo for a spring symposium at Helsinki University in 2023, organised for LUOVA doctoral programme students. The logo represents the moose, which is the main animal for the LUOVA conference, and the surrounding animals represent the organisms used or studied at Helsinki University by LUOVA students. These include bacteria, plants, ants, moths, butterflies, birds and fish.

Viikki Meadow Project Illustration

Designed a map for a meadow walk around the Viikki campus of the University of Helsinki. The project aims to create meadows around the university to provide a more suitable environment for fauna and flora instead of having only lawns.
